He also won the Best Player of the tournament in World Cup, 2005. He is well known for his clean plays and has never been sent off during his entire career. He has excellent skills in passing and holding on to the ball.

When it comes to goalkeepers, we cannot fail to mention Buffon because of his great performance during his entire career till present. He is one of the best goalkeepers who has been consistent with his performances and has been a crucial part of defending for his teams.

Iker Casillas:

Casillas, the captain of both Spain and Real Madrid, is one of the greatest goalkeepers of the 21st century known for his great and fast reflexes. He won the Golden Glove awards in 2010 and had won 5 IFFHS World’s Best Goalkeeper award.
